She was known to many as "Sister Mary", and was born on July 11, 1909, in Zwolle. She was a regular member of the United Pentecostal Church in Zwolle, where she was loved dearly, and will be missed by all. Mrs. Meshell was preceded in death by her husband, Wiley Meshell; two daughters; one son; her parents; two sisters; three brothers; and a very special grandson, Bo Linkous, who died May 2000. Survivors include one daughter and husband, Sissy and Rusty Morris of Logansport; sons, Jesse Meshell of Zwolle, Charles and wife Shirley Meshell of Zwolle, Marvin Meshell of Pasadena, Texas, Mickey and wife Margie Meshell of Stonewall, Ed Meshell of Zwolle, Gerald and wife Gina Meshell of Zwolle; 24 grandchildren; and 47 great grandchildren. Left behind, but never forgotten, are two grandchildren, Lloyd Saunders, and Lana Johnson and husband Ron of Glenmora, that were raised by their grandmother, Mrs. Mary Meshell, as her own children, and loved very dearly. Mrs. Meshell was put to rest on July 31, 2001, at Zwolle City Cemetery. Residing minister was Br. Philip North of the United Pentecostal Church in Zwolle. Funeral services were held Tuesday, July 31, at 2 p.m. Pallbearers were Allen "Pete" Wooley, Kevin Meshell, Jimmy Meshell, Michael Meshell, Jerry Meshell, and Patrick Meshell, and Sherman Meshell.
