Joseph Lawrence "J. L." Meshell, Sr.

  Funeral services were held for Mr. Joseph Lawrence "J. L."
Meshell, 38, of Zwolle, La., at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, March 21,
1995, at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church, with interment
following in the Old Zwolle Cemetery, under the direction of the
Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Father Danny Walsh, and Father John Kennedy officiated.

  Mr. Meshell passed away on Saturday, March 18, 1995.

  Survivors include his nine children, Joseph Lawrence Meshell Jr.
of Zwolle, Jason Scott Meshell of Zwolle, Johnny Lee Meshell of
Zwolle, Jill Louise Meshell of Zwolle, Mark Ray Meshell of
Zwolle, Michael Joseph Meshell of St. Louis, Mo., Christopher
Daniel Meshell of Zwolle, Tiffany Leann Cole of St. Louis, and
Christopher Corey Cole of St. Louis; mother, Zula Parrie and her
husband Thomas, both of Zwolle; father, Hosea Meshell and his
wife; seven sisters, Naomi Marie Alexander of Shreveport, Margie
Ann Garcie of Zwolle, Jani Sepulvado of Zwolle, Zelda Goldsmith
of Zwolle, Mildred Parrie Trahan of Port Arthur, Texas, Lou
Morgan of Port Arthur, and Barbara Ann Sepulvado of Port Arthur;
six brothers, John Leroy Meshell of Zwolle, Eugene Meshell of
Zwolle, Tony Meshell of Coushatta, Justin Eugene Parrie of
Zwolle, Larry Parrie of Zwolle, and Lester Parrie of Springhill,
La.; and his maternal grandmother, Pearl Goff of Zwolle.
