Sam Meshell

  Funeral services for Sam Meshell, 83, were held at St. Ann's
Catholic Church in Ebarb, with interment following at St. Ann's
Cemetery.

  Father David Richter officiated. Mr. Meshell died March 23,
1996, in Groveton, Tex. He was a veteran of WWII.

  He is survived by sons, James Meshell of Belmont, Dewitt Meshell
of Groveton, Tex., Samuel Meshell of Groveton, Tex., Clayton
Meshell of Splendora, Tex., and Wayne Meshell of Groveton, Tex.;
daughters, Belva Jean Leblanc of Corrigan, Tex., and Mary Jane
Anderson of Houston; thirty grandchildren; eighteen great
grandchildren; and numerous other relatives and friends.

  He is preceded in death by his wife; two brothers; and six
sisters.
