Officiating was Rev. Phillip North. Interment was in Fender Cemetery in Many, under the direction of Les Fontaine Funeral Home. Mr. Meshell died Sunday, Feb. 2, at LSU Medical Center in Shreveport. He was a lifelong resident of Sabine Parish, and was employed with Trans-American Waste of Many. He is survived by his wife, Sandra Sue Meshell of Many; three daughters, Cynthia Stewart and husband, Jerry of Zwolle, Maxine Enterkin and husband Chuck of Many, Shelly Meshell Jenkins and Nathan of Lewisport, Ky.; five grandchildren, Tia, Brad, Clyde, Zachary, and Amber; a host of nieces, nephews, and many friends. Pallbearers were Kevin Meshell, Jimmy Meshell, Pete Wooley, Michael Meshell, Doug Creighton, and Brian Creighton.
