Martin Meshell

  Martin Meshell, 19, of Zwolle, drowned Wednesday, Nov. 16, in
the Lake Charles Intercoastal Canal, at 6 p.m.

  Funeral services were conducted in St. Joseph Catholic Church of
Zwolle, Monday, Nov. 21, with the Msgr. Robert C. Friend
officiating. Interment was in St. Joseph Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joe Meshell of
Zwolle; five brothers, Louis, Wilson, Johnnie Ray, Jerry, and
Gary, all of Zwolle; two half brothers, John Meshell of Zwolle,
and J. T. Meshell of Shreveport; four sisters, Mrs. Tom Ebarb,
Mrs. William Malmay, Mrs. Curtis Ezernack, and Bernadette
Meshell, all of Zwolle; three half sisters, Mrs. Julia Galg of
Leesville, Mrs. Lawrence Bebee, and Mrs. Wilson Garcie, both of
Zwolle.

  Pallbearers were Ed Garcie, Virgil Sepulvado, Wesley Martinez,
Clyde Rivers, George Laroux Jr., J. V. Martinez, Steve Ebarb, and
Clarence Parrie.
