Johnnie Meshell (Photo)

  Johnnie Meshell, 83, of Zwolle, died Nov. 15, 2002, at Lifecare
Hospital.

  Funeral services were held at 10 a.m., Nov. 18, at St. Joseph
Catholic Church, with interment following at St. Joseph Cemetery.
Father Joe Martina, Father Ken Williams, Father Tim Hurd, and
Father John Pardue officiated.

  Survivors include his widow, Maggie Meshell of Zwolle; two
daughters, Johnnie Brown and husband Lathan of Heflin, and
Marjorie Rivers and husband Thomas of Keithville; son, Daniel
Meshell and wife Mary of Zwolle; two sisters, Elizabeth Longoria
of Houston, Texas, and Fannie Phillips of Texarkana, Ark.; 13
grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces,
nephews, and friends.

  He was preceded in death by his son, John Patrick Meshell; and
daughters, Janet Marie Meshell, and Juanita Martinez.

  Pallbearers were Eric Martinez, Vince Martinez, Tim Martinez,
Brad Rivers, Scott Brown, John Pat Meshell, Mark Meshell, Phillip
Meshell, and Eric Meshell. Honorary pallbearers were
granddaughters, Suzie Meshell, Gwen Ringo, Danell Lyons, and Tina
Watson.
