The Sabine Index - Mrs. Mary McCollister

  9 Mar 1956 - Last rites for Mrs. Mary McCollister, 84, who
died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. M. Jackson, Thursday,
March 1, was conducted at Pleasant Hill Baptist church at 2 p.m.
Saturday, March2 with Rev. W. M. Greer officiating, assisted by
Rev. Wilton Anthony and Rev. Ed Shufflin. Interment was under the
direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Surviving relatives are her sons, Jeff, Ben, and Arthur
McCollister all of Many; John McCollister of Toro, and Isham
McCollister of Hornbeck; daughters, Mrs. Grace Jackson, Mrs.
Ethel Small, Mrs. Ida Sibley all of Many; Mrs. Ona Miller of
Florien; Mrs. Vivie Small of Haughton; Mrs. Emma Laurence of
Oakdale; brother, David Seevers of Nevada, sisters, Mrs. Mae
Petty and Mrs. Grace Logan of Many, Mrs. Vallie Bryant of Monroe,
and Mrs. Evie Palmer of Shreveport; 43 grandchildren and 59
great-grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Bernard McCollister, Dean McCollister,
Ivey D. Miller, Bob Small and Andrew Jackson.
