Owen Samuel McCollough

  Funeral services for Owen Samuel McCollough, Sr., of Provencal,
were held on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 2 p.m. Burial in Mt. Camel
Cemetery followed, with the Rev. A. J. Dupree, and the Rev. Owen
Lofton officiating.

  Mr. McCollough died on Thursday, Dec. 11, at the age of 78.

  He is survived by his widow, Gertrude J. McCollough, Provencal;
one son, Owen S. McCollough, Jr., Sulfur; two daughters, Mrs.
Wanda Hilton, Florien, and Mrs. Wilda Bridges, Natchitoches;
three sisters, Mrs. Jewell Steckler, and Mrs. Eunice Knoblauch,
both of New Orleans, and Mrs. Blanche Creasy, Lake Charles; two
brothers, Marshall M. McCollough, Deweyville, Tex., and Bryce
McCollough, Florien; seven grandchildren, and twelve great
grandchildren.
