Thomas (Jeff) Jefferson McCollister

  Mr. Thomas (Jeff) Jefferson McCollister died Tuesday, March 15,
1983, at 10 p.m. Mr. McCollister expired at his residence in
Many, after an extended illness. He was 84.

  Surviving relatives are his wife, Edna McCollister, Many; one
brother, Arthur McCollister; four sisters, Ida Sibley, Many,
Ethel Small, Galveston, Tex., Grace Jackson, Baytown, Tex.,
Vivian Small, Haughton, and a host of nieces and nephews.

  Funeral services for Mr. McCollister were held Thursday, March
17, at 2 p.m., at Mt. Olive Baptist Church. Burial was held at
Mt. Olive Cemetery, with Bros. Travis McCullough, and C. C.
Pierce officiating. Services were under the direction of Warren
Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Tyrice Maxey, Pat Small, Joe Halcomb, Lyndel
McCollister, Reginal Gandy, Tom Holcomb, Jackie Small, and Joe
Dewell.
