Effie Gertrude McCollister

  Funeral services for Effie Gertrude McCollister, 92, were held
Monday, June 18, at 2 p.m., in Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.
Interment followed in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Florien, La.,
under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Rev. Roy
Dowden officiated.

  Mrs. McCollister died June 16, at 9:10 a.m., in Florien.

  She is survived by four daughters, Thelma Dewil of Florien,
Dorothy Satramp of Panama Beach, Florida; Cumiea Rains of
Florien, and Gwendal Wilkinson of Shreveport; one son, Frankie
McCollister of Shreveport; one sister, Earline Moscone of
Vacaville, California; seventeen grandchildren; thirty four great
grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; and a host of
nieces and nephews.
