Wade McClanahan

  Wade McClanahan Jr., 77, of Many, died in Willis-Knighton
Hospital in Shreveport, on Saturday, Dec. 10, at 11:15 a.m.,
following a lengthy illness.

  McClanahan is survived by his widow, Mrs. Josephine McClanahan
of Many; one daughter, Mrs. Richard Snell of Hornbeck; three
sisters, Mrs. Mamie Brown, and Mrs. Pearl Ludwig, both of San
Augustine, Tex., and Mrs. Kenneth Colston of Many; her
stepmother, Mrs. Leona McClanahan of Many; and two grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel
on Monday, Dec. 12, at 10 a.m. The Rev. Freddy Hipler, and the
Rev. Otho Greer officiated. Burial was in the Florien Cemetery,
under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Pete Anderson, Wayman Ferguson, Harvey
Crittenden, Bill Lutton, Kenneth Colston, and Roy McCauslin.
