The Sabine Index - Wade J. McClanahan, Sr.

  25 Nov 1955 - Final rites for Wade J. McClanahan, Sr., 78,
who passed away at his home near Many after a short illness
Monday, Nov. 21 was conducted at the chapel at Warren Funeral
Home at 10 a.m. Tuesday Nov. 22 with Rev. Kenneth Jones
officiating. Interment was in Fenders cemetery under the
direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Leona McClanahan of Many, sons,
W. J. McClanahan of Many; daughters, Mrs. J. L. Brown and Mrs. H.
K. Ludwig of San Augustine, Texas, Miss Barbara McClanahan of
Many; sisters, Ida McClanahan of San Augustine, Texas, three
grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were Tommy Burkheimer, Leo Griggs, R. S.
Salter, Leslie Dupree, Troy Downs and Harvey Cain.
