All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Maud Austin McAllen (Photo) Funeral services for Maud Austin McAllen, 95, were held at the Old Pisgah Baptist Church near Marthaville, on Sunday, September 22, 1985, at 4 p.m. Rev. Sammy Giddens officiated. Burial was in the Old Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. Mrs. McAllen died in the Pleasant Hill General Hospital on Friday, September 20, at 8 p.m., after a long illness. She was a member of the Old Pisgah Baptist Church. Survivors include one daughter, Idell Singletary of Marthaville; three step daughters, Pearl Moore of Mansfield, Gladys Stephens of Beaumont, Texas, and Loretta Armour of Many; two step sons, Hoyt McAllen of Many, and Earl McAllen of Mansfield; three grandchildren, Coye McAllen, Donna Henry, and Pat Dyson, all of Marthaville; two great grandchildren, Jim and Shane Henry of Marthaville; a number of nieces and nephews. Pallbearers were Billy Maxey, Snip Rains, Jim Wyatt, J. W. Johnston, Ted Singletary, and Keith Moore. Memorial donations may be made in Mrs. McAllen's name to the Old Pisgah Cemetery Fund.
