Mrs. Ida B. McClanahan

  Funeral services for Mrs. Ida B. McClanahan of Many, La., were
held Monday, March 27, 1989, at New Jerusalem Baptist Church.
Burial was at new Jerusalem Cemetery. Thomas Mortuary was in
charge.

  Mrs. McClanahan passed away at her home in Many, on March 22,
1989, at the age of 57. She taught at Many Junior High for 23
years. She leaves to mourn her death, her father, Robert Sidney
Cole, Sr., Beaumont, Tex.; her husband, Efferson McClanahan,
Many; three daughters, Rosiland Arhin, Moreno Valley, Calif., Mae
Mallard Moore, Inglewood, Calif., Lana Mallard, Many; one son,
Connie Ray Mallard, Houston, Tex.; three sisters, Henri Lee
Bryant, DeRidder, Dr. Eva Pearl Lewis, Dallas, Tex., Lula Mae
Delafosse, Beaumont, Tex.; three brothers, Robert Sidney Cole
Jr., DeRidder, Oscar Cole Sr., Beaumont, Tex, and Connie Dan Cole
Sr., Shreveport; nine grandchildren, Chopin Scott, Alfrondri
Mallard, Kristin Mallard, Ama Arhin, Collette Mallard, Donell
Moore, Kojo Arhin, Ebony Mallard, and La Dissa Moore; two aunts,
Edna Mae Black, and Eula Cole; a host of nieces, nephews,
cousins, and friends.
