McAllen, 68, were held at 2 p.m., Monday, July 2, in Rose-Neath's Mansfield Chapel. Dr. George Ritchey officiated. Burial was in Mansfield Cemetery. Mr. McAllen was born in Marthaville, and he had been a resident of Mansfield since 1945. He was the Owner of the McAllen's Service Center from 1963 until 1988. He was also a Coca Cola distributor in Mansfield for 18 years, prior to opening the service station. Mr. McAllen was a veteran of World War II, and a member of First Baptist Church of Mansfield. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Donnie McAllen of Mansfield; two sons, Robert Earl (Bob) McAllen Sr. of Mansfield, Donald L. McAllen of Houston, Texas; three sisters, Gladys Stephens of Beaumont, Texas, Loretta Armour of Zwolle, Pearl Moore of Frierson; one half sister, Idell Kelly of Marthaville; three grandchildren. Pallbearers were Roy Webb, Travis English, Don English, W. E. Hayes, Charlie Dykes, Buddy Thompson, Leon Higson, Stewart Burris. Honorary pallbearers were Frost Love, Jack Burgess, Herman Lawson, J. W. Stephens, Jimmy Stephens, P. E. Dixon, Harold Armour, and Dr. Donald Taylor.
