The Sabine Index - Mrs. Bell McGowen

  6 Sep 1940 - 6 Sep 1940 - Mrs. Bell McGowan, age 75 years, died
Sept. 1 after several months illness in the home of her sister Mrs.
W. A. Martin in DeRidder.

  Funeral was in charge of Roberts funeral home of DeRidder with Rev.
C. W. Williams of Many officiating.  Funeral services and interment
were at Ft. Jesup.

  Mrs. McGowan is survived by four sisters, Mrs. W. A. Martin of
DeRidder, Mrs. Margaret Viddler of Hornbeck, Mrs. Ima Chance of
Shreveport, Mrs. Stella Love of El Paso, Texas, and a number of other
relatives.
