Frances Irene Mixon

  Funeral services for Frances Irene Mixon, 86, were held at 2
p.m., Wednesday, May 27, at Bailey Mortuary Chapel in Springhill.
The Rev. Glen Marr, and the Rev. Frank Ross officiated, Burial
was in the Cotton Valley Cemetery, under the direction of the
Bailey Mortuary.

  She died on Monday, May 25, in Bossier City, following a long
illness.

  Survivors include five daughters, Mickey Harris, and Fay Tucker,
both of Carthage, Tex., Pauline Walden of Bossier City, Tom Ross
of Ida, and Betty Skinner of Converse; three sons, R. G. Mixon,
Jr. of Homer, Bob Mixon of Shreveport, Jim Mixon of Rayne; one
sister, Lottie Abrams of Alexandria; 14 grandchildren; and 14
great grandchildren.
