Mrs. Lois Meacham

  Services for Mrs. Lois Meacham, 65, of Converse, were held at 10
a.m., today, Thursday, Aug. 20, at the Rose-Neath Funeral Home
Chapel in Mansfield. The Rev. Marshall Ingle officiated. Burial
was at Converse Cemetery.

  Mrs. Meacham died Tuesday, August 18, 1987, at St. Frances
Cabrini Hospital in Alexandria, La., after a lengthy illness. She
was a member of the Lakeside Baptist Church, and the Eastern
Star.

  She is survived by her husband, George Meacham of Converse; a
son, Greg Meacham of Shreveport; three daughters, Bonnie
Knippers, and Darlene Phillips of Pineville, Sherry Brown of
Haughton; a sister, Sharon Sexton of Jamestown; two brothers,
Clifford Gullet of Memphis, Tenn., Calvin Gulett of Chicago,.
Ill.; eight grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of
nieces and nephews.
