All rights reserved. http://usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://usgwarchives.net/la/lafiles.htm ********************************************** Mrs. Mildred (Jordan) Cagle McCann Services for Mrs. Mildred Jordan Cagle McCann, 74, of Nacogdoches, were held Tuesday, June 6, at 10 a.m., at the Laird Funeral Home Chapel in Nacogdoches. Graveside services were performed Tuesday afternoon, at 3 p.m., at Centuries Memorial Park in Shreveport. Officiating was the Rev. M. A. Ervin, and the Rev. Doug Tucker. Officiating at graveside was the Rev. Alvin Oney. Mrs. McCann died Saturday, June 3, 1989, at her residence. A native of Robeline, La., she had lived in Shreveport for over 50 years, where she worked as a nurses aide for LSU Medical Center for 17 plus years. She moved to Nacogdoches in January of 1986. She was preceded in death by two husbands, Jesse B. Cagle in 1959, and Earnest McCann in 1972. She is survived by two sons, Rev. Charles J. Cagle of Dallas, Tex., Rev. Gene Cagle of Siloam Spring, Ark.; one daughter, Fay Boxeman Tooley of Nacogdoches; two brothers, Richard Jordan of Robeline, George Jordan of Keithville; two sisters, Jane Cagle of Robeline, Ruby Fuller of Natchitoches; nine grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Assoc. of Tyler, Texas.
