McCann, 67, of Lake Charles, were held at 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 13, in the Warren Meadows Funeral Home Chapel in Many. Interment followed in the Old Pisgah Cemetery in Belmont. Rev. Rene Saltzman officiated the services. Hixson Funeral Home of Lake Charles was in charge of the local arrangements. Mr. McCann passed away at a local hospital in Lake Charles, at 4 p.m., Saturday, March 10. A native of Homer, he was a resident of Lake Charles since 1986. He was a member of the Westlake Assembly of God Church. He retired as a truck driver, and then worked for the Cross Lake Patrol for 10 years. He is survived by his wife, Juanita M. McCann of Lake Charles; two sons, Pat McCann of Sulphur, and David Alan McCann of Jackson Hole, Wyoming; one daughter, Judith Elaine Knapp of Round Rock, Texas; three brothers, E. R. McCann, W. C. McCann, and Gene McCann, all of Shreveport; one sister, Christine Whitley of Dallas, Texas; 13 grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
