Charlie McGown

  Funeral services for Charlie Nethery McGown, 66, of Pendleton,
were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 1, in the McMahan Chapel
Methodist Church, with the Rev. Buddy Pratt officiating, assisted
by the Rev. Basil Halbert of Milam. Burial was in the McMahan
Chapel Cemetery.

  McGown died Jan. 30 in a San Augustine, Tex. hospital, after an
illness of several months.

  Among survivors is a daughter, Mrs. Jessie Knight of Zwolle.
