  Mrs. Carolyn McCombs - March 31, 1988

  Services for Mrs. Carolyn McCombs, 75, of Atlanta, were held at
2 p.m. Thursday, March 24 at the Hanner Funeral Home in Atlanta.
The rev. Guy Pry officiated. Burial was at Pine Crest Cemetery in
Atlanta.

  Mrs. McCombs, a resident of Atlanta since 1948, died Tuesday
morning, March 22, 1988 in a Longview, Texas hospital after a
short illness. She was born October 1, 1912 in Athens, Texas.
Mrs. McCombs was retired from the First National Bank of Atlanta
and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

  She is survived by a daughter, Jan Ellis of Gilmer, Tx.; a son
Jeff McCombs of Shreveport, La.; two sisters, Fannie Louise
Carlton of Atlanta and Sammie Warren of Many, La.; three
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
