She is survived by her husband, Ernest McComic of Many; three daughters, Mrs. R. C. LaRue of Natchitoches, Mrs. Susan Elizabeth Duncan, and Diane McComic, both of Many; her father, D. W. Armstrong of Zwolle; six brothers, Monroe and Don Armstrong of Zwolle, Rufus Armstrong of Boutte, D. W. Armstrong, Jr. of Kenner, Flen Armstrong of Bossier City, and Riley Armstrong of Kenner; twelve sisters, Hattie Ruth Chambers, Betty Jo, Genevieve, Mary, and Nelda Armstrong, all of Zwolle, Lucille Carleton of Ranger, Tex., Corrine Juneau of Evergreen, Mabel Sanchez of Metairie, Jo Ann Youngblood of Noble, Charlotte Wedgeworth and Faye Anthony, both of Many, and Darlene Knippers of Robeline, and eight grandchildren. Funeral services were in Warren Meadows Funeral Chapel at 10 a.m., Tuesday, May 19, with the Rev. Kenneth Leach officiating. Burial was under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many, in the McComic Cemetery.
