Survivors include three sons, Frank L. Brooks of Baton Rouge, Albert E. McComic of Pasedena, Tex., and James V. McComic of Boyce; six daughters, Mrs. Elsie Haly of Doyline, Mrs. Shirley Parker of Pasedena, Tex., and Mrs. Margie Guins, Mrs. Dolly Myers, Mrs. Vrginia Brodnax, and Miss Mary mcComic, all of Boyce; five brothers, Glen McComic of Oakdale, Claude McComic of Florien, Wyatt McComic of Nederland, Tex., Marshall McComic of Minden, and Johnnie McComic of New Orleans; four sisters, Mrs. Ruby Graham of Bogalusa, Mrs. Louvina Alford of Landcaster, Calif., Mrs. Magaline Phelps of Fisher, and Mrs. Nervie Sparks of Many; nineteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren. Funeral services were held Wednesday. at 10:30 a.m., at the Chapel of the Grant Funeral Home in Boyce, with the Rev. William Mitchell officiating. Burial was at the Dark Neal Cemetery in Boyce, under the direction of First National Funeral Home of Alexandria.
