Ernest McComic

  Ernest McComic, 65, of Many, died in Shreveport Thursday, Feb.
6, at 11:15 p.m., following a short illness.

  McComic is survived by his widow, Mrs. Marie McComic of Many;
three daughters, Mrs. R. C. LaRue, Many, Mrs. Charles Alexander,
Jacksonville, Fla., and Miss Diane McComic, Many; his mother,
Mrs. Noah McComic, Many; two brothers, Andrew McComic, and Amos
McComic, both of Many; three sisters, Mrs. C. T. Ferguson,
Hemphill, Tex., Mrs. L. L. Cain, Many, and Mrs. Jack Donaldson,
Bartersville, Okla.; three stepsons, Jerry Hogan, Larry Hogan,
both of Houston, Tex., and Glenn Hogan, Seasbrook, Tex.; and ten
grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held at the Zwolle First Baptist Church
Saturday, Feb. 8, at 3:30 p.m., with the Rev. Lee R. Dickinson
officiating. Burial was in the McComic Cemetery, under the
direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
