The Sabine Index - Pvt. James C. McComic

  22 Feb 1952 - Final rites for Pvt. James C. McComic, age 23,
who passed away in the Korean War, Oct. 27, 1951, were held at
the graveside in McComic cemetery at 2 p.m. Saturday by Rev. Ray
Brown. Interment was under the direction of Warren funeral home.

  Pallbearers were members of The American Legion.

  Surviving relatives include: mother, Mrs. Susan
McComic; brothers, Amos, Andrew, Ernest McComic, all of Many, Joe
McComic, Shreveport; sisters, Mrs. C. T. Ferguson, Hemphill,
Texas. Mrs. L. L. Cain, Many, and Miss Lacelle McComic,
Mansfield.
