Myrtle "Mirt" McNaughton

  Services for Mrs. Myrtle "Mirt" McNaughton, 80, of Mansfield,
were held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 22, at the Drewett
Memorial Chapel in Mansfield. The Rev. Edmond Fenton officiated.
Burial was at Forest Park West Cemetery in Shreveport.

  Mrs. McNaughton died Monday, Jan. 19, 1987, in a Houston, Texas
Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. D.
McNaughton.

  She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law, Odessa M., and
Nick Schaefer of Spring, Tex.; four grandchildren; and five great
grandchildren; one brother, Bernice Weeks of Maurepas, La.; two
sisters, Iris McPherson of Robeline, and Ollie McGee of Knob
Noster, Mo.

  Pallbearers were John Schaefer, Victor Hermard, Huey Speights,
Joe Miciotto, Gerald Weeks, and Paul McPherson.
