Walter Green McComic

  Mr. Walter Green McComic, 94, died at Heritage Manor Nursing
Home on Sunday, Jan. 11, 1987, at 10:25 a.m.

  Services were held at Warren Meadows Chapel on Monday, Jan. 12,
at 4 p.m., with Rev. Jerry Bell officiating, and Rev. Milton
Mitchell assisting. Burial was at Oak Hill Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home.

  He is survived by one son, Buddy McComic of Many; four
daughters, Viola Cox, Leola Fletcher, and Betty Goss, all of
Many, and Jackie Flynt of Arlington, Tex.; two half sisters,
Jewel Bass, and Clara Mae Griffin, both of Hemphill, Tex.; 12
grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 12 great-great
grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
