Rev. Riley Andrew McComic

  Rev. Riley Andrew McComic, died at the age of 77, at Willis
Knighton Medical Center in Shreveport, on October 10, 1987.

  Services were held at Florien First Baptist Church on Oct. 13,
at 3 p.m., with Bro. Herman Farless officiating. Burial was at
Florien Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral
Home.

  Survivors include his wife, Bertha McComic of Shreveport; three
sons, Bobby McComic of Keithville, Charles Byrd of Shreveport,
and Kenneth Byrd of Vivian; one sister, Lula Mae Russell of
Lufkin, Texas; seven grandchildren; and six great grandchildren.

  Pallbearers included Greg McComic, Gerald Todaro, Edward
Freeman, Michael Byrd, Tommy McComic, and John Kautz.
