Mrs. Lillie Mae McComic

  Mrs. Lillie Mae McComic, 93, died Tuesday, May 27, at 7:30 p.m.,
in the Community Care Nursing Home in Leesville.

  Funeral services were held Thursday, May 29, at 2 p.m., in the
Peason United Pentecostal Church in the Peason Community. The
Rev. Thompson officiated, assisted by the Rev. Joseph Bynog.
Burial was in Fender's Cemetery in Many.

  She is survived by one daughter, Nella Mae Holt and her husband
Tom Holt of LaMarque, Tex.; one son, M. A. McComic and wife Betty
McComic of Florien; one daughter-in-law, Dorothy McComic of
Florien; 18 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and five
great-great grandchildren. Mrs. McComic was preceded in death by
her parents, J. J. DeBose and Jane Minerva Jackson DeBose; her
husband, Lee Roy McComic; two sons, Herbert, and C. W. (Wayne)
McComic; and two grandsons, Aubrey, and Clifton Wayne McComic Jr.

  Pallbearers were Tim Wilson, Audie Wilson, Eugene Holt, Jimmy
Holt, Ralph Matthews, and Thurman Stewart.
