Joe McComic

  Joe McComic, 56, of Shreveport, died Feb. 5, in Shreveport,
after an extended illness. Funeral services were conducted Feb.
7, at Warren Meadows Chapel, with the Rev. Bill Stowell
officiating. Burial was in the Many Cemetery, under the direction
of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Survivors include his wife, Bernice McComic of Shreveport; one
son, Joe McComic of Shreveport; two daughters, Mrs. John B.
Warwick of Shreveport; his mother, Mrs. Susan Ann McComic of
Many; three brothers, Andrew McComic, Amos McComic, and Ernest
McComic, all of Many; three sisters, Mrs. L. L. Cane of Many,
Mrs. C. T. Ferguson of Hemphill, Tex., and Mrs. Lucille Donaldson
of Bartlesville, Okla.; and five grandchildren.

  Pallbearers were X. L. McDonald, Frank Manning, Ray Shotwell,
Charles Faulkner, Ralph Farris, and Thomas Lightfoot.
