Funeral services were held in Many United Pentecostal Church, Thursday, Dec. 1, with the Rev. Billy White officiating. Burial was in the McComic Cemetery, under the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many. Survivors include her husband, Howard McComic of Many; two sons, Paul McComic, and Lonnie Lewing Jr., both of Dallas, Tex.; three daughters, Mrs. Hessie Shaffer of Dallas, Mrs. Ester Terry of Houston, and Mrs. Loretta Lewis of Keithville; one brother, Roland Puckett of Gonzales; four sisters, Mrs. Roxie McPhatter of Video, Mrs. Malene Eason of Florien, Mrs. Lourene Toups of Starks, and Mrs. Wilda Huff of Dewville, Tex.; and 13 grandchildren. Pallbearers were Bainey Stringer, Walter Scarbough, Ray Shafer, G. D. Hall, Dove Bush, and Buddy Lewis.
