Hermie McGinty

  Hermie McGinty, 64, of Pleasant Hill, was killed Wednesday,
April 16, when a tractor he was riding overturned on his farm in
Pleasant Hill.

  Services were Friday, at 2 p.m., in the First Baptist Church of
Pleasant Hill, with the Rev. Vernon Stephenson officiating,
assisted by the Rev. Cecil Salley. Burial was in the Old Pleasant
Hill Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of
Mansfield.

  Survivors include his wife; one son, Scott Landers McGinty of
Pleasant Hill; two daughters, Marth Ann McGinty, and Mary Alice
McGinty, both of Pleasant Hill; two sisters, Mrs. Kit Griffin of
Atlanta, Ga., and Mrs. Bib Goldman of Bossier City.
