James V. McGinty

  James Vernon McGinty of Pleasant Hill, an employee of the
highway department, died Tuesday, April 12, in a Pleasant Hill
hospital.

  Funeral services were held at 11 a.m., April 14, in Pleasant
Hill Baptist Church, with the Rev. Cecil Salley, and the Rev.
George Sherman officiating. Burial was in Old Pleasant Hill
Cemetery, under the direction of Drewett Funeral Home of
Mansfield.

  Survivors include his widow; one son, Hermie McGinty of Pleasant
Hill; and two daughters, Mrs. Kit Grissom of New Orleans, and
Mrs. Vera Goldman of Bossier City.
