E. McNeely, died at her home in Many Saturday, April 4, at 3:00 p.m., after a short illness. Mrs. McNeely was the daughter of Ludlow J. Nash and Caroline Sibley Nash. She was born December 24, 1871, on Toro near Sandel where she lived until her marriage October 7, 1891. Then she came to Many, where she spent the remainder of her life. She was a member of the Methodist church, the Woman's Missionary society, the Order of Eastern Star, and the Daughters of the Confederacy. She was ever faithful to duty whether serving as an officer or in the ranks. Her whole life was characterized by unselfish service and unswerving loyalty to church and community. She was a good and well-loved woman and had a host of friends here and in the surrounding country, who mourn her death. Funeral services were held at the Many Methodist church at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, the pastor, Rev. W. T. Gray, officiating, assisted by Rev. J. B. Williams, interment being in the Ft. Jesup cemetery. Active pallbearers were Jimmie Addison, W. M. Knott, O. E. Williams, Robert Jackson, Dr. J. K. Phares, and Van Vines.
