McNeely 14 Apr 1939 - Funeral services for Mrs. W. B. McNeely, 24, who died Saturday evening following a long illness were held from the family residence here Monday, with the Rev. J. B. Williams officiating. Interment was in the Many cemetery, under the supervision of the Green Funeral directors. Mrs. McNeely was the former Doris Logan, daughter of W. K. Logan of this place. She graduated from the Many high school and attended the Louisiana State Normal College. She was a devout member of the Meany methodist church. On January 12, 1935, she was married to W. B. McNeely, and to the young couple one sons was born, Bennie McNeely, Jr., age 21 months. In addition to her husband an young son, Mrs McNeely is survived by her father, W. K. Logan, two sisters, Misses Willie and Lynn Logan of Sherwood, Tenn., one brother, Tom Logan, of Many her maternal grandfather, H. D. Latimer of Chattanooga, Tenn., her paternal grandmother, Mrs. T. H. Logan of Tampa, Florida, and by an aunt, Mrs. George Bogart, of Sherwood, Tenn. The active pallbearers were: Harvey Skinner, Charles Williams, Pete Lucius, Lee Jordan, Ruel Boone and Olin Dean Moore. (Followed by a long list of honorary pallbearers)
