The Sabine Index - Daisy Cleveland McNeely 
  
  4 Sep 1959 - Funeral rites for Mrs. Daisy Cleveland McNeely will 
be held Friday, Sept. 4 at 10 a.m. at the First Methodist church 
with Rev. J. W. Matthews, pastor, officiating. Interment will be 
in the Many cemetery under the direction of the Warren Funeral 
home. 
  
  Surviving include two sons, W. B. and J. H. McNeely; daughters, 
Mrs. Mary Ellen Saxby and Mrs. J. M. Jordan, all of Many and five 
grandchildren. 
  
  Pallbearers will be Reuel Boone, J. B. Vandegaer, J. V. Nash, O. 
E. Williams, Jake Muse and Buddy Dees. 
  
  Mrs. McNeely, age 78, passed away Thursday morning at 6 a.m. 
after a long illness. She was from one of the pioneer families of 
Sabine parish being a daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. W. B. 
Cleveland, and the widow of the late J. H. McNeely, a life long 
resident of Many. Besides the relatives she leaves a host of 
friends to mourn her passing.
