Rev. Bill Stowell, pastor of Emmanuel Baptist Church, where Mrs. Macmillan was a member, officiated. Burial was in Centuries Memorial Park. She died at 6:30 a.m., Monday, April 5, at Willis-Knighton Medical Center, after a lengthy illness. Mrs. Macmillan, born in Hornbeck, and a resident of Shreveport 34 years, was a retired CMR Clerk in the Accounting Dept. of Bell Telephone. She is survived by her husband, Robert E. Macmillan of Shreveport; father, J. S. Self of Hornbeck; sons, Gary R. Macmillan of DeQueen, Ark.; Randy Macmillan, and Mark Lane Macmillan of Shreveport; daughters, Debra Phillips, Annette Johnson, and Nelda Macmillan, all of Shreveport; sisters, Ivory Lea Jarred, and Julie Moses of Shreveport; twin brother, Lelan Lee "Buddy" Self of Hornbeck; and four grandchildren. Pallbearers were Jack Chenault, Bobby Babin, Roy McClure, Thomas Palmer, Mike Bond, and Lane Bond.
