McMillan, 56, were held Friday, January 18, at 10 a.m., in North Orange Pentecostal Church. Burial took place in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Bridge City, under the direction of Claybar Funeral Home in Orange, Texas. Officiates for the services were Rev. H. E. Gerald, pastor of the North Orange Pentecostal Church, and Rev. Bill Murphy, pastor of the Antioch Baptist Church in Florien. Mrs. McMillan died January 15, at the Schumpert Medical Center in Shreveport. A native of Eudora, Mississippi, she was a former 35 year resident of Orange, and had lived in Florien the past 6 years. She was a retired shop foreman from American Bridge in Orange, and also had worked for the Orange Casket Company. Survivors include her husband, B. R. "Rusty" McMillan of Florien; daughters, Karen E. Peoples, and Sheila McMillan, both of Orange, Sharon Irene Stevenson, and Shirley A. McMillan, both of Florien; son, John Linden McMillan of Orange; sister, Irene Morris of Nederland; and eleven grandchildren.
