Mrs. Pearl McMillian

  Funeral services for Mrs. Pearl McMillian, 82, were held at 2
p.m., July 22, 1995, at Little Flock Baptist Church.

  Reverends Frank Ott, Lawrance Hidalgo, and Alvon Hall
officiated. Interment was in Little Flock Cemetery, under the
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Mrs. McMillian died July 20, 1995, in Sabine Medical Center in
Many.

  Mrs. McMillian was born April 23, 1913, in Columbus, La., to
Mary Eugenia Kelly Speight and Wyatt Speight.

  She was preceded in death by her husband, W. A. "Al" McMillian;
two grandchildren, Wesley, and Kathy; and a great granddaughter,
Ashton.

  Survivors include five daughters, Aleta Burr of Belmont, Daphnie
Moore of Many, Maria Gribbin of Alexandria, Sandra Davis of
Carthage, and Sherry Salter of Negreet; one son, Buddy McMillian
of Negreet; one sister, Mildred Smith of Many; 18 grandchildren;
38 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
