Effie McNeely

  Mrs. Effie McNeely, 79, of Florien, died in Many, at 11:30 p.m.,
on April 7, after an extended illness.

  Surviving relatives include five sons, Floyd McNeely of Florien,
John McNeely of Houston, Tex., Leman McNeely of Many, Lester
McNeely of Schiller Park, Ill., and Henry McNeely of Vinton; six
daughters, Mrs. Jewel Chance of Hornbeck, Mrs. Eula Saule of
Florien, Mrs. Verna Suehs of Henderson, Tex., Mrs. Della Ramsey,
Mrs. Lena Bonds, and Mrs. Norma Richardson, all of Bossier City;
a brother, Preston Ferguson of Many; 24 grandchildren; and 10
great grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held in Pisgah Baptist Church, at 11 a.m.,
on Thursday, April 9, with the Rev. Wilton Anthony, and the Rev.
C. C. Pierce officiating. Interment was in Pisgah Cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home in Many.
