Mrs. Hazel Mozelle Mauser

  Funeral services for Mrs. Hazel Mozelle Mauser, 82, of
Shreveport, were held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 15, in the chapel
of Mulhearn Funeral Home in Monroe. Rev. Laverne Gardner
officiated. Burial was in Spring Hill Cemetery near Swartz, La.

  Mrs. Mauser died Tuesday, Aug. 13, 1985, at Westwood Manor
Nursing Home in Shreveport, after a lengthy illness.

  A native of Hattiesburg, Miss., she resided in Monroe most of
her life. She was a member of Swartz First Baptist Church.

  She is survived by one son, Jesse E. Mauser, Bastrop; one
daughter, Margaret Thomas, Converse; one sister, Mrs. Edna
Thompson, Greenwood; seven grandchildren; and six great
grandchildren.

  Mrs. Mauser's grandsons were the pallbearers, Billy Wayne Boles,
Roger Dale Thomas, Donald Lewis Thomas, Davis Scott Thomas, Glen
E. Mauser, and Richie Patrick.
