McCarty Charles Kenneth McCarty, 80?, of Shreveport, died Dec. 4, after a lengthy illness. a native of Converse, Mr. McCarty had resided in Shreveport for the past 50 years. He was an engineer for the T. & P. Railway. Services were at 11 a.m., Dec. 5, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church. Officiating was the Rev. Willaim O'Hanlon, pastor of Holy Trinity, with burial at Greenwood Cemetery, under the direction of Rose-Neath Funeral Home. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Ernie Burkett McCarty; and one brother, Don McCarty.
