Adam McCartney

  Adam McCartney, 68, of Converse, died Thursday night, Nov. 22,
in Allen Sanitarium in Converse, after a short illness.

  The funeral was held at 1 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 24, in the Beulah
Methodist Church near Marthaville, with the Rev. Floyd McCartney
officiating. Burial was in the Beulah Cemetery, under the
direction of the Rockett-Nettles Funeral Home of Coushatta.

  Survivors include three brothers, Arthur McCartney of
Shreveport, Lamar McCartney of Port Arthur, Tex., and Flem
McCartney of Converse; and one sister, Una Montanque of Converse.
