The Sabine Index - Mrs. C. C. McCartney, Sr.

  17 Feb 1961 - Last rites for Mrs. C. C. McCartney, Sr., age 90,
who died Feb. 13, were conducted at Beulah Methodist church Feb.
14, with Rev. Tom Lancaster officiating assisted by Rev. W. M.
Hall. Interment was in family cemetery near Beulah under the
direction of Warren Funeral Home.

  Pallbearers were Roy, A. J., Cullen and Dr. Wight McCartney, Sam
Watley, Newell Fleming, Sidney Droughan and Ray Rains.

  Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. C. C. Nabours, Zwolle, Mrs.
C. E. Pearson of Shreveport, Mrs. W. W. Youngblood of
Marthaville; 6 sons, K. L., J. A., and C. C. McCartney and Keeler
McCartney of Atlanta, Ga.; sisters, Mrs. J. J. Cook of
Marthaville; Mrs. Murphey Cobbos of Shreveport; one brother, C.
B. Flemming of Marthaville; 15 grandchildren and 20
great-grandchildren.
