Mrs. C. C. McCartney Jr.

  Mrs. C. C. McCartney Jr., 75, of Marthaville, died Aug. 19,
after an extended illness.

  Surviving relatives include three daughters, Mrs. Ted Caroll of
Shreveport, Mrs. Roy J. Bridges of Pleasant Hill, and Mrs. Essie
Lang of Many; and 10 grandchildren.

  Funeral services were held in the Marthaville Baptist Church,
Aug. 21, with the Rev. Burnley, and the Rev. J. C. Salley
officiating. Burial was held in the Marthaville Cemetery, under
the direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home of Many.

  Pallbearers were Dan Richardson, Roy Bridges, Dudley Lang, Jimmy
Bridges, James Lang, Terry Massey, Bob McCartney, and James
McCartney.
