Syble P. McCormick

  A memorial service for Mrs. Syble Pearson McCormick, 64, of
Leesville, was held on Friday, June 8, in the Hixson Funeral Home
Chapel, with the Rev. Wallace Palmer officiating, who is pastor
of the First Baptist Church of Leesville.

  Burial was in the Forest Lawn Cemetery.

  Mrs. McCormick was a resident of Zwolle for 38 years, before she
moved to Leesville. While living in Zwolle, she was a faithful
member, and worked in the First Baptist Church. She continued her
faithful work in the First Baptist Church of Leesville, until her
death on Thursday, June 7.

  Survivors include her husband, Dewey McCormick of Leesville; one
daughter, Dottie M. McRae of Leesville; two brothers, Thomas
Pearson of Many, and Raymond Pearson of Longview, Tex.; three
sisters, Ruby Schwartz, Lola Pruitt, and Dessie Litton, all of
Leesville; and three grandchildren, Mark, Marcie, and Millie.
