  Mrs. Thelma Jane McCormic, 79, of Many, died Monday, Aug. 13,
2001, at Schumpert Medical Center.

  Funeral services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, Aug. 15, at
Warren Meadows Chapel, with interment following at Fender
Cemetery. The Rev. Ted Salley, and the Rev. Jim Townsend
officiated.

  Survivors include her daughter, Gloria Jane Alford and husband
Jerry of Many; son, John Wayne McCormic and wife Tina of Many;
brother, Jim Junior Salter of White Oak, Texas; eight
grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and a host of nieces,
nephews, and friends.

  Mrs. McCormic was preceded in death by her parents, James and
Georgia Salter; two sons, Luke and Sam McCormic; husband, Fred
McCormic; and two brothers, Kenneth Allen Salter, and Melvin Leon
Salter.

  Pallbearers were Chubby Canton, Bobby McCormic, Jody McCormic,
Kenny McCormic, Mike McCormic, Pat McCormic, Paul McCormic, Ricky
McCormic, Mike Rutherford, and George Salter.
