Mrs. Mary C. Mowad 
  
  Mrs. Mary C. Mowad, 70, of Many, died in Alexandria Tuesday, 
Jan. 16, after an extended illness. 
  
  Funeral services were held Wednesday, Jan. 17, at 11 a.m., at 
the St. John Catholic Church of Many, with the Msgr. T. J. Lennon 
officiating. Interment was in the St. John Cemetery, under the 
direction of Warren Meadows Funeral Home. The rosary was recited 
Tuesday evening at the John Kramer Funeral Home in Alexandria. 
  
  Survivors were four sons, Nolan and Fred Mowad, both of 
Alexandria, Ellie Joseph and John E. Mowad, both of Many; two 
daughters, Mrs. Blanche Liberto, and Mrs. Rose Farace, both of 
Alexandria; one brother, Mr. Paul Ceasar of Alexandria; and nine 
grandchildren.
