Moody, 81, of Marthaville, died Tuesday, Nov. 8, at the Natchitoches Manor Nursing Home, after a short illness. Services were held at 2 p.m., Wednesday, at the Marthaville Baptist Church, with the Revs. Donald Daughty, and John M. Alexander officiating. Burial was in the Marthaville Cemetery, under the direction of the Drewett Funeral Home. He is survived by his widow; seven daughters, Mrs. Ettie Moore, and Mrs. Syvellia Hight of Marthaville, Mrs. Nettie Graves of Pleasant Hill, Mrs. Audry Elkins of Dallas, Texas, Mrs. Verma Jenkins of Marthaville, Mrs. Verda Hilton of Natchitoches, Mrs. Dulcie Millstead of Port Arthur, Texas; one son, Clarence Moore of Coushatta; three brothers, A. P. Moody of Sacramento, Calif., J. D. Moody of Pleasant Hill, and J. R. Moody of Marthaville, five grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
